 Aqui ouvimos falar de silêncio. Se nada for ouvido, tudo pode ser verdade. O silêncio é o nada, mas é também, de certa forma, o tudo que não foi ainda dito: é uma forma de realidade perfeita, que permite tudo dentro de si mesma.

Não ouvir nada (não ligar à realidade concreta) é assim melhor do que qualquer coisa real. A realidade intromete-se na perfeição da ideia que Fernando Pessoa faz dela.
